Angi-Lass... Neo?

A little doodle I did, which quickly evolved into one of my favorite redesigns for a classic Daikaiju Academy character! This is Angi-Lass [originally created by furry artist KenCougr], the Anguirus Kaiju Girl... I never knew whether she was based on the original Anguirus, or the Final Wars Anguirus design, so in this case I compromised by adding some new details, referenced by this amazing Anguirus redesign! fav.me/d1lpy91

In addition, I also did a sketch of what Angi looks like when doing her "thunderball" attack; ironically, I thought that anatomically speaking, this type of ability would have been impossible to duplicate using a human frame, but turns out that the redesign of her entire shell [based on the KaijuSamurai redesign, which in turn was clearly based off of real-life ankylosaur armor!] and the addition of the scutes on her arms, legs, and tail, the effect is quite simple and practical... other than her exposed shins and thighs, Angi's curled up form leaves little to no gaps of unarmored flesh exposed, and a body slam from her like this would be excruciatingly painful!

You see, the biggest motivation for this redesign of Anji is to give her, and the other classic kaiju girls, a more combat oriented design, something that makes them look like really good scrappers, without losing the sexiness that we kaiju girl fans love about these scaly gals!
