Megan and Varnie sketch

A second reimagining of two classic kaiju girls I did a couple days ago... I don't know whether or not I'll be doing more reimaginings of the kaiju girls, since recent comments has made me second guess going to so much effort adding new details to classic characters before actually getting accustomed to doing the original character; I plan on starting with Angi, since Bonehead-XL was kind enough to send me some hard to find pics of her from the old site to use for reference!

Varnie belongs to djgaijin [originally created by... the information I have says it was someone called Nippon, but I think the original creator was the artist now known as KaijuSamurai] and most of her appearance was remained unchanged, other than incorporating scale patterns on the plated sections of her body [directly based off a picture of the original Varan], and the addition of a "rattle" from the Godzilla Neo redesign on her "tail?" fav.me/d1lq7h6
PS: what the Hell was her creator thinking when he put Varan's tail on the back of her head!?

Megan belongs to SonGoharotto , and like Varnie I only slightly updated the design, adding more details from the original kaiju Megalon; the best, if least obvious, attempt at this was a minor reshaping of her glasses, trying to give them the same glaring shape that Megalon's multifaceted eyes were.
